Geography and Rural Development is a constructive dialogue between the professional in the field of social sciences, especially geography, and practitioners in the field of rural development. The papers in this volume were presented at a national symposium on Geography and Rural Development organised by the Department by the Department of Geography of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (Gujarat) and sponsored by the University Grants Commission.
